Field Surveys - Digital Twin Create an engaging, guided experience using captions to tell a story about your space. Add tags to draw the viewer's attention to key points of interest. As-Is Reality: The Digital Twin allows the user to digitally navigate the captured space, take measurements, and enter information (technical attachments, videos, photos, etc.). It eliminates the need for additional site visits and can be shared with the team or client via a link.List Item 1
-
Adapt the data you share with different groups Easily organize, share, and showcase the data in your Space with different groups, creating a single view for each audience.List Item 2

Create and share as-built files with third-party applications With EB Team's BIM files and AutoDesk Revit integration, companies can order complete as-built designs. The technology provides point clouds of the surveyed areas in both .xyz and E57 (high point density) formats, allowing users to use them for any type of processing. CAD files: Survey CAD files processed according to the ISO 13567 standard can also be requested. BIM files: LOD 200 BIM files in .rtv and .dwg formats for interiors and exteriors.List Item 3

Integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud Collaborate on projects more efficiently with the visual site context provided by digital twins. Revolutionize traditional RFI processes with synchronized RFIs from digital twins. You can now place an Autodesk RFI marker in the area of interest to allow all project stakeholders to view the RFI in its context within the site.List item 4

Get 2D floor plans in 2 daysSave time, money, and effort with ready-to-use floor plans, available in 2 business days in PNG, PDF, and SVG formats. .png and .svg floor plans: automatically display the layout of the acquired space via .png and .svg files, providing the user with all the documentation ready for their project. Within the files, the spaces are already divided, labeled, and contain the relevant measurements.

Methodology and ground penetrating radar (GPR) instrumentation usedDepending on the accessibility of the sites and the conditions, morphology, and size of the areas to be investigated, as well as the soil conditions, we propose the use of the following ground penetrating radar instrument: Stream UP, a latest-generation ground penetrating radar manufactured by IDS Spa. Stream UP is a multi-channel, multi-frequency, dual-polarization GPR system designed for complete subsurface mapping to detect buried structures, cavities, underground utilities, moisture distribution, etc., designed for acquisition over large areas with full-coverage acquisition. Stream UP is an innovative GPR system capable of operating at acquisition speeds of up to 60 km/h and is therefore ideal for surveys in urban areas open to traffic. The system is towed by a standard vehicle equipped with a tow hook (quad, car, minicar, van, electric vehicle, etc.) and can also be transported on the same vehicle used for acquisition thanks to its compact size.
-
Positioning systemsStream UP is able to manage position information from DGPS (Leica GS18) or Robotic Total Station (Leica TS50) so as to efficiently manage the results even on GIS systems. Furthermore, the Stream UP proposed for the survey in question is equipped with an inertial motion station (APS – IMU) for DGPS positioning in the absence of an RTK signal. This allows maximum DGPS precision to be maintained even along road sections where the GNSS signal is poor due to the presence of trees, buildings, vertical obstacles of various kinds, etc., as is possible in acquisitions in mountainous contexts such as the one in question. GPS data can be saved in absolute coordinates and the IQMaps processing software can read the same coordinates automatically. The Stream C system is compatible with GPS according to the NMEA standard.
-
PerformanceFrom a technical standpoint, this instrumentation is equipped with a 200 MHz antenna array (19 channels) in VV polarization and a second array (19 channels) in HH polarization, thus combining maximum exploration depth with maximum resolution in a single pass in FULL COVERAGE. This mode allows for complete mapping of the investigated area without leaving unexplored portions (unlike what happens with the use of the traditional single-antenna system) with the aid of specific real-time navigation software. The instrumentation used is mounted on a special trolley equipped with an echo Doppler device for measuring the distances traveled and a support for a DGPS antenna or prism.
